We here at our Waterford Smile Co offices offer various options for Dental Implants:

Single Tooth Implants

Single tooth implants simply replace one tooth. A tiny titanium post is gently placed into your mouth with a crown fitted on top. We can make the crown while you wait with our CEREC Milling machine. Dental Implants are proven to be the most beneficial way to replace either a single, multiple or full set of teeth.

Multiple Teeth Implants

If you have a few missing teeth, whether this is from an accident or illness or poor oral care, then don’t worry we can fix these! Multiple Dental Implants can be placed with a permanent fixed bridge which enables you to eat and chew whatever you like. The replacements will look realistic, natural and function well.

All-on-4 and All-on-6 Implants

These implants enable us to offer permanent full mouth restorations. The existing teeth are replaced with a new set of prosthetic teeth that stand firmly on 4 or 6 implants that are fixed in the jawbone. This enables us to replace all the teeth which are damaged or decayed and give you your smile and self-confidence back.

Implant Supported/Retained Dentures

These offer a greater support to your existing dentures using a series of implants with a bar or clasp system to snap your dentures onto. You can still remove them at night but they will give you a higher level of stability during the day.

Dental Implant Consultation

Call us to book your free, initial consultation. At this appointment, you’ll meet with one of our amazing dental implant dentists. They’ll assess your particular situation and go through all of your treatment options. At this point, we can also help you arrange a CT Scan to ensure there’s enough bone to place a dental implant.

Don’t worry if there isn’t, because our dentists can also perform a bone graft or propose alternate treatment options if not. At your consultation, you can also meet with our patient coordinator to discuss payment plan options. Click here to read more about the financing options we provide.

Treatment Plan Creation

Once the dentist has your CT Scan results, they can create a custom treatment plan for you. This includes cost, timeline, and expected results. We will have you back in to review this plan and come up with a date to move forward with the treatment. We can also help you finalize payment options at this point.

Implant placement/First Treatment Appointment

Your first treatment appointment will be the implant placement, unless you need to have a tooth extracted or have a bone graft done first. Depending on your treatment plan and the number of implants needed, the dentist may decide to do this step in stages. This will be clearly outlined in your treatment plan.

Check-In Appointments and Crown Placement

After each implant placement appointment, our team will follow-up with you to ensure that you are healing properly. Typically you can expect crown placement to be about 12 weeks after the implant is placed as long as everything has healed properly.

Regular Dental Appointments

Once your crown is placed, your dental implant treatment is complete. At this point, you’ll just need to come in for periodic checkups and cleanings. We know that this is an investment in your health and we want to make sure it’s well protected!

Am I suitable for dental implants?

Dental Implants are a great option for anyone and can last for over 40 years with good oral hygiene and care. In order to place an implant, you will require healthy gums and have enough bone to support the implant but if you would like a FREE CONSULTATION we can advise you further about treatment options.
